Diana Brownlow, MSW

Assistant Director of Youth Engagement

Diana serves as the Assistant Director for Youth Engagement at Foster Success. Originally from Chicago, she came to Indiana to attend Ball State University where she studied social work and criminal justice. There, she volunteered as a tutor for middle schoolers at a local community safe space for youth and worked for the Youth Opportunity Center, a juvenile residential and emergency shelter facility.

Diana moved to Indianapolis for a position as a therapeutic foster care specialist. This led to a natural transition into a Youth Development Specialist role, spearheading the kick off of the Healthy Teen Connections program, which engaged age-appropriate youth in receiving medically accurate sexual and reproductive health information and resources.

Diana earned a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Leadership from IUPUI. After graduation, she worked for the Great Families 2020 initiative where she engaged families in early childhood development and collaborated with caregivers to identify sustainable resources needed for their lives. She was also a contractor for the Indiana National Guard as the Lead Child and Youth Program Coordinator where she created fun and engaging opportunities to teach resilience to military youth.

Most recently, Diana was a Family Support Specialist at the Damien Center where she started partnerships with early childhood organizations to set up families for success. She engaged the community in enrichment opportunities to broaden scope and knowledge.

In her free time, Diana enjoys being outdoors whether hiking, kayaking, or just a simple walk. Her passion is dancing, from Zumba, to dance TV shows and movies. She loves to travel and immerse herself in new places. On any day, you can catch her listening to music and coloring to relax.
