Workforce Readiness
Career Coaching
The Foster Success Career Coaching program supports young people (ages 18-25) who have experienced foster care with finding immediate employment. The program focuses on career coaching and networking connections for young people who want or need to quickly enter the workforce.
The program supports individuals who need:
- 1-on-1 career coaching on information and skills needed to get and keep a job
- Assistance finding employers who are actively hiring in Central Indiana
- Access to high school equivalency programs
- Referrals to job trainings, certifications, and other workforce learning opportunities
Eligibility:
- Young adults between the ages of 18-25 who have spent at least one day in foster care on or after their 14th birthday
- Have a desire to explore career pathways and attain employment
- Live or attend school in one of the following Indiana counties: Marion, Johnson, Morgan, Shelby, Hancock, Madison, Hamilton, Boone or Hendricks counties

Workforce Credentials
Foster Success’ Workforce Credentials program empowers young people (ages 18-25) who have experience in foster care in pursuing training and credentials that lead to meaningful career pathways. If you would like to gain licensure to build your resume or to help get qualified for a promotion at your job, this is the program for you.
This program supports young people who want to pursue:
- CPR Certification
- Home Health Aid Certification
- Commercial Driver’s License
- Bartending License
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Forklift Licensure
- Community Health Worker Certification
- Welding Training
- … and much more!
Eligibility:
- Young adults between the ages of 18-25 who have spent at least one day in foster care on or after their 14th birthday
