Ali serves as Director of Program Delivery. Prior to her current role, she served for 6.5 years as the East Region Outreach Coordinator at the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. In that role, she served 14 counties across the State of Indiana, assisting students and families in utilizing state and federal financial aid programs, with an emphasis on the 21st Century Scholarship Program. During her time with the Commission, she constructed and implemented financial aid programming specifically built for high school seniors in foster care.

Prior to her outreach role, Ali was an AmeriCorps member. Her AmeriCorps work included working with incoming 21st Century Scholar recipients to aid in retention and persistence on campus. Her work with the AmeriCorps opened her passions to the world of higher education and working with underserved populations, which quickly led her to volunteering with CASA of Eastern Indiana beginning in 2017.

Ali is excited to bring her experience and passion for young people in foster care and higher education together in a meaningful and impactful way through the work of Foster Success. She was raised in southern Indiana. She studied geologic studies at Indiana University. She enjoys gardening and traveling in her free time.
