Thank you for joining us at Taste of Thanks 2025.

Together, we celebrated connection and community at our annual Taste of Thanks event in support of Foster Success’s FriendsGiving Campaign!

Taste of Thanks is a unique event designed to engage individuals in the mission of Foster Success. Along with enjoying seasonal delights and music, guests hear directly from young people about their lived experience. This year, Shayla, a Foster Success participant, shared her story with attendees.

“I spent roughly 1,859 days in care (who’s counting?). I spent 2,186 days engaged with Foster Success. You may hear those two numbers and think ‘wow, 1,859 is a long time,’ or that one number is bigger than the other. Both are true. But what I want to highlight is consistency and that Foster Success was there when I needed it most, as an older youth and then after my case had closed.” – Shayla, Foster Success participant
