At Foster Success, we realize that supporting teens and young adults who have experienced foster care is about more than delivering programs and services. It also includes changing the systems that surround them so they can thrive.

We do that through youth informed work in three areas:

  Advocacy
  Policy
  Research

Applying for funds

Foster Success has successfully fought to improve the lives of teens and young adults in foster care at the local, state, and federal levels.

Foster Success has a proven track record of advancing data-driven, youth informed legislation at all levels.

From advocating for the building blocks for an independent adulthood like improved access to auto insurance and bank accounts to advancing holistic change through the extension of foster care services to the age of 23. Foster Success works with state and national partners from across the country through SPARC, the Jim Casey Youth Opportunity Initiative, and the Journey to Success campaign.
