Travis serves as the Chief Development & Communications Officer at Foster Success. In partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors, he leads the organization in partnering with donors, funders, and community partners through donor-centered comprehensive fundraising and communication strategies to achieve Foster Success’ goals and mission of supporting the successful transition of youth and young adults from foster care into adulthood.
Travis joins Foster Success from the University of South Carolina School of Law as interim senior director of development and alumni relations. He is an adjunct professor at Indiana University’s Lilly School of Philanthropy.
Travis earned his bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and earned a master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University’s Lilly School of Philanthropy. Travis serves as the board secretary and Present-Elect of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Indiana chapter and board member for Adoptions of Indiana. When he isn’t connecting the community to the Foster Success mission, he’s keeping up with his family and dogs, baking, perfecting his charcuterie skills, or speaking on fundraising panels or at conferences.
