Dr. Maggie Stevens, Foster Success’ new CEO

Foster Success is pleased to announce that Dr. Maggie Stevens has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  Stevens previously served as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Foster Success is an Indianapolis-based nonprofit that provides financial, educational and social support to young adults who are about to or who have already aged out of the foster care system.  

“Indiana has 22,000 transitional age foster youth without permanent families who need support to successfully transition to adulthood,” said Stevens.

“I’m honored to take on this new role with the organization and I look forward to helping Foster Success grow and continue to support and positively impact these teens and young adults across our state.”

Stevens received her Doctor of Education from the University of Cincinnati, her Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Charleston and her Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Saint Louis University.

Foster Success, formerly Indiana Connected By 25, Inc.,is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides financial, educational and social support to foster care youth at a most critical time – when they are about to or have already transitioned out of the foster care system, most often with no family or economic support. Each year in Indiana, about 500 youth age out of the foster care system and into our communities. Statistically they fare dramatically worse than 18-year-olds with parental support.
