Daniel Hurst

Assistant Director of Workforce Readiness

Daniel serves as Assistant Director of Workforce Readiness, helping to prepare young adults for stable and fulfilling career opportunities as they transition out of the foster care system. In this position, he works to cultivate pipelines in the local community between these young adults and employers who can provide opportunities for training, certification, advancement, and skill development within the workplace.

Previously, Daniel conducted cross-site evaluations as a Research Assistant in the Ready to Rise program in Los Angeles, as well as developed scalable interventions for justice-involved youth as the Research Coordinator for the Lifting the Bar program in Oakland.

Daniel has a dual degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University, where he focused on the intersection of stereotyping and punishment. He is thrilled to bring a passion for supporting underserved youth and communities back to his hometown of Indianapolis.
