A series of financial courses, available to qualified young people who have experienced foster care in Indiana. These free courses will elevate your knowledge of finances, from budgeting and banking to saving and building credit.

Launch with Online Financial Modules

Earn a 1-time total of $75 by scoring 80% or higher on all 7 modules

You’ll learn about

  1. Banking Basics
  2. Income and Employment
  3. Budgeting
  4. Credit and Debt
  5. Consumer Skills
  6. Financing Higher Education
  7. Insurance

To apply, you must:

  • Be age 14-25 and have spent at least 1 day in foster care at or after the age of 14.
Youth Discussion

Elevate with Economic Conversations

Achieve financial independence in this youth-driven financial discussion

You’ll learn about

  1. Identifying income
  2. Best banking practices
  3. Manging dorm funds, credit cards, and other income
  4. Setting financial boundaries

To apply

  • You are 16-25 and have spent at least 1 day in foster care at or after the age of 14.
  • Scored 80% or higher in Online Banking Basics Module 1
Opportunity Passport

Accelerate with Opportunity Passport™️

A 15-hour advanced finance and asset-building course

You’ll learn about

  1. Improving your financial literacy
  2. Savings and assets
  3. Achieving economic stability

To apply

  • You are 18-25 and have spent at least 1 day in foster care at or after the age of 14.
  • Completed Online Financial Module 1 – Banking Basics with 80% or higher
  • You are currently employed, in college, or in qualified training
  • Have a valid state ID or passport
  • Be able to open a bank account
  • Ready to save

Take-Off with Credit Build

A 12-month credit-building program designed to help you establish or improve your credit score while saving money.

You’ll learn about

  1. Establishing credit
  2. Building credit scores

To apply

  • You are 18-25 and have spent at least 1 day in foster care at or after the age of 14.
  • Complete all 7 Online Financial Modules with an 80+%
  • You are currently employed, in college, or in qualified training
  • Have a valid state ID or passport
