John Totten

John is a Finance Business Partner – Strategy & Reporting for Rolls-Royce North America. He has experience working in multiple facets of corporate finance, including financial statement preparation and audit, internal controls, technical accounting, and forecasting, planning & analysis. In his current role, he partners with the business to implement strategies that further the mission of Rolls-Royce while providing the highest financial benefit for the company.

Prior to his current role, John served as Global Accounting Policy Manager for the Distribution Business Unit of Cummins, Inc., where he worked with the business and finance teams to understand United States and international accounting requirements and implications of business decisions. He began his career in public accounting at Deloitte LLP, leading financial statement and internal controls audits for multiple publicly traded companies in the Indianapolis area. He has a MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.

Along with serving on the Foster Success board, John serves on the Education Committee for Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife Emily and their Golden Retriever puppy Augie. He enjoys reading, hiking, college football, woodworking, and playing video games in his free time.
