Amber M. Williams

Amber is a higher education professional who currently serves at the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Belonging for the statewide Ivy Tech Community College system. She teaches, trains, and facilitates with a focus on DEIB related issues, psychology, and workplace behaviors.

With over a decade of experience, Amber has served as the statewide Executive Director for Employee Diversity, Equity and Belonging, full-time faculty member of Psychology, Program Chair for Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Phi Theta Kappa honor society faculty advisor for Ivy Tech Community College – Kokomo.

Prior to Ivy Tech, Amber earned her Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University where she worked on employee engagement and satisfaction, soft skills training, job analysis, and leadership and organizational development projects in the Greater Nashville area. In her spare time she can be seen around Westfield, Indiana where she lives with her husband and two children.
