Katie Jackson

Katie is a lawyer at Dentons Bingham Greenbaum in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution group.

Katie graduated with a Double Bachelor of Science in Global Studies and Justice Studies from Arizona State University.

Prior to attending law school, Katie was a member of Teach for America and taught middle school for three years in Phoenix, Arizona. She coached the middle school girls’ soccer team all three years and devoted a significant amount of time to before and after school programs for the English language learners in her class.

Katie has a rare neuromuscular disease and uses a power wheelchair. She played power wheelchair soccer for over a decade and in 2011, was part of Team USA, which won the World Cup in Paris, France.

During her summers of teaching, Katie supervised an internship program for the nonprofit, Joni and Friends. The internship program was focused on teaching the interns more about the disability community. In addition to the internship program, she has been to Uganda twice to distribute wheelchairs with Joni and Friends.

When she’s not working, Katie can be found spending time with her husband and 1 year old baby boy.
